"Kenechi Udeze and the Trojans had more wins over bowl teams, won by bigger margins and was more dominating from start to finish in its bowl game." 1. LSU's opponents were 5-1 in bowl games (if count UGA twice since we played them twice). 2. LSU's opponents were 5-1 in bowls. USC's opponents were 5-1 in bowls. 3. LSU's opponents' opponents averaged a BCS ranking of 19. USC's opponents' opponents averaged a BCS ranking of 42. 4. LSU beat more top 25 teams than did USC. 5. LSU has outscored its opponents 475 to 154. Average score: 33.9-11. Translation: LSU has averaged outscoring its opponents by 22.9 points this season. USC has outscored its opponents 534 to 239. That means USC's average score was 41 to 18.4. Translation: USC has averaged outscoring its opponents by 22.6 points this season. 6. LSU played a much better OU team than that Michigan team. Can someone tell these idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure what to say here. CFN has really been behind the Tigers all year so I can't really bitch too much about them overall. We all know who the true champions are.
Before you go off on CFN remember they were the only national sports outlet to notice the Tigers early in the season. They had us in the top ten before anyone else. I don't think they were prejudiced against us because we were unranked and unproven at the start of the season. I think they tried to give us a fair shake that's their opinion. Of course we both know they are wrong- but they gave us our due for winning the BCS.
Fine, but at least get your reasons for voting USC #1 right. When your premises that you think are true are really false, there is a very good chance that your conclusion is false.
