LSU as a 33 point favorite over NT is not surprising. It looks like Georgia, Auburn & Ole Miss are in for tough games.
Opening game turnovers combined with a slow offensive start could put a couple of SEC teams in the "L" column. It wouldn't surprise me one bit to see a couple of upsets early. Give LSU at least 1 good tune-up game every year, I say. Never do what Miami & FSU are doing and play in the first game, even though the results generally favor the great defenses.
Not so fast, the Cajuns have a decent team this year and figure to give the Mean Green of North Texas a run for their money. NT figures to be able to beat UL again in a very close game this year. So, if NT & UL are almost evenly matched, a good LSU to Texas comparison exists in game 1. There's a 6 point difference in the spreads, advantage Texas for playing the weaker of the two. And, everyone knows Mack loves to run up scores on weak opponents. I still remember the 66 points Oklahoma put on Mack a few years back, just payback for those little guys Texas stomps each year. :hihi: I'll be interested to see if Texas can even come close to matching the butt-wuppin given by LSU to the Mean Green. I wonder if Les will run up scores. That's another post! I guess we'll find out next week.
You will lose your money then. UGA is going to pound the **** out of BSU. I have a lot of money on that game.
