You don't read very well do you? I recounted my experience as a deer hunter by saying I never even saw a deer much less got a shot. I also have no problem with some rich guy paying $50,000 to shoot an old lion if that's what it takes to make him think his dick will grow another inch or two. As long as the culling of the lion benefits the preservation of the other lions and the people of the third world country get some benefit from the money. And as long a the rich dickless wonder does it legally in the area specified for that purpose and doesn't kill a lion designated as a national symbol that is beloved by the native people. Let me put this in a way you might be able to understand. Imagine that hunting trophy horses is legal in this country. Once there were millions or horses and a person who wanted a trophy horsehead could go out and shoot any horse he wanted, old or young. But now because of expanding human population, cities, suburbs, industry, ect. the few remaining horse not involved in racing or for people to ride or for rich guys to play polo are living on a horse wildlife management area. When a horse gets too old to breed and starts getting cantankerous with the other horse the govenment lets a few people who will pay the money to shoot one of the old horses as long as the do it on the management area and don't shoot any other horses. Now imagine that after his racing and stud career was over Secretariat had been set free on the horse management property. As a Triple Crown Winner and a symbol of horse greatness Secretariat is loved by the American people. Now along comes Froggy McBigbucks. Froggy pays his money and the horse management area manager tells Mr. McBigbuck that there are 10 old horses that need to be culled and that he can take his pick and shoot whichever he chooses. Perhaps inspired by watching the horsehead scene in The Godfather too many times Froggy decides he needs a real trophy like Secretariat to make his dick grow even another half an inch longer, so he hires some rogue outside cowboys to drive Secretariat off the management property and kills America's horse, the ultimate symbol of horse athletisism. It's almost as bad as if he had killed Muhammad Ali or Michael Jordan. Now, Froggy, can you understand why all of America hates you?

Oh and it's total cool to capture lions and watch them slowly die in captivity. It's fine that Mike the tiger lives in a cage? For no other reason than our VIEWING PLEASER, yet we are all up in arms about this hunter? I agree the dude is a douche, but really?
Lots of people who are against abortion are also saddened by the death of a lion. People on all sides of all issues have dogs and cats which they love like they were family members. I don't know if Rubio has any pets but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. The issues are unrelated unless somebody wants to tie them together to try to make political points. Conservatives, left wing nutjobs, gun owners, anti gun kooks, straight people, gays and even trannys are among the animal loving population. Animals, including lions and tigers live longer lives in captivity than their life expectancy in the wild. Yes, Mike is here only because the powers that be at LSU say we have always had a live tiger and we always will. But if Mike was living in a jungle in Asia or India there is a good chance he would be killed by poachers who would sell his skin and teeth. Except for not having a girl tiger he has a pretty cushy life. Like Mike, an endangered lion, rhino, elephant or giraffe living in a zoo is in as natural a habitat as they can make it. Zoo's aren't the filthy places with animals behind bars they once were. Not only are the animals well fed and have regular medical care the important thing is that zoos help to perpetuate the endangered species by having them close enough to study.
