You know nothing of which you speak. Probation, community service, fines, and a curfew isn't consequence enough for a person who's committed two misdemeanors? Have you ever been drunk in public? Jumped the neighbor's fence to grab your frisbee? Driven recklessly? You ARE aware that those are misdemeanors, right? You mention that you don't know the facts of the case. That ALONE is enough to discredit your entire argument. Don't you think Les has the full scoop? How about the judge that he faced for it? Don't you think there MIGHT be a reason nobody has really made a big deal about it? Or do you think that you are the only one who can hand down judgment, and everybody else is incompetent? Get real and get over yourself.
I didn't hand down judgement and admitted I wanted to know more. So lets skip over whether he is being punished enough and ignore the possiblity that maybe judges are pressured just like coaches. I still say that this should be a decision made by the coach and not put up for a vote by the locker room. He's the coach and he is the dictator. It's not a democracy. Hand down whatever punishment you see fit or kick him off the team if he wants and send a message. Instead it comes across that if your team mates like you and you get into trouble they will vote to keep you on the team or not suspend you. I just don't like the methodology of it. Don't put the decision on the players, make it yourself, this is your team.
You misunderstand. It sounds like you swallowed Doyle's bullshit hook, line, sinker, rod, reel, and fisherman. It was okay with him AS LONG as it was okay with the rest of them. He made the decision, but wasn't going to force in on his team. This is a regular occurrence when a team member gets suspended. The team ALWAYS votes as to whether or not the offending party gets to come back. Of course, if it's bad enough, it never goes to the team. See Mathieu or Perrilloux for more evidence of Miles' willingness to cut important players when it's warranted.
I think Hill has had to take responsibility for a stupid decision. But the girl's decision to go in the locker room was also stupid. As a female, I get irritated at other females who do things like this and then cry they are a victim.
From what I understand she never did "cry" victim. It was DaddyO that found out his little girl was a hoochie and he threw the hissy fit. 14 is still 14 but if she knew what she was doing and wanted to do it then how in the hell do you expect a testosterone charged teenager to turn away. I know when I was 16 my sisters friends loved to come over and spend the night and it wasn't always to see her.
Because it is the frigging law. 18 is an adult. Grown men do not exploit underage jailbait. Not any men I would respect.
