This is nice read on how LSU's season helped boast CBS' ratings this fall. It also breaks down how LSU stayed at the forefront of most college football discussions this fall. This has been great exposure for LSU, unmatched from any previous year for our Tigers.

I think CBS ought to exclusively show all the LSU games, as NBC does with Notre Dame.

I am sure they are considering it.

CBS has far and away the best HD. Brightest colors, sharpest resolution.

ESPN is also quite good. ABC is several steps behind.

Great point! If we win the National Championship can you imagine the interest CBS would have in showcasing all of our games at night with the ratings they enjoyed. It would also continue to showcase the SEC in a way no other football conference is enjoying.

That's the thing though. If CBS and LSU ever agreed to do this (and I don't think they will, but that's just me), for the most part, night games would be a thing of the past. With the exception 1 or 2 high profile games, CBS would probably want 2:30 kickoffs.

I would just be happy with them giving us only the night games. They don't have to be exclusively LSU, because I highly doubt that will every happen anyway. Just sign a deal that puts all of our games on CBS in the primetime slot when they choose LSU. I can live with that.

As we know high ratings and money drives decisions. I think CBS sees the advantage of a night game in Tiger Stadium draws viewers in. If LSU night games can deliver high ratings then I think they would give us night games. Read this:
