    red55...

It's not about Bush and has NEVER been about Bush.

Republicans know full well that Bush's NG special treatment and lack of service cannot be honestly defended.

If Clinton or Gore had attacked Iraq and wasted $200 billion and 1000 American lives the impeachment proceedings would have started already.

They weren't truly upset by Clinton's lie over a blow job, either. They just wanted him out, and they didn't care what it cost to do it.

It's all about abortion, having guns, government control of sexual activities, forcing children to recite "under God", denying medical care to children because their parents are "too lazy"...

It's not about Bush... Republicans recognize that he's an immoral buffoon. But he's the buffoon that best serves their selfishness.

Well I'm happy to see we've gone from a never ending debate on his service to attacking all Republicans. My vote for Bush will have nothing to do with abortion, "government control of sexual activities", "under God" (FYI: no one is forced to say it, and Bush doesn't say they should be forced to say it), the guns thing is important to me, but not one of my main reasons for voting for him, and nobody is denied medical care, it's the paying for it that's the problem. But thank you for generalizing all Republicans, and they call us close minded.

I actually don't hate Bill Clinton either and never have, because I think all sitting and former Presidents deserve respect. For instance, I would never call him an "immoral baffon". I might call him immoral, but who wouldn't? I do think he dishonored the office and he did commit perjury, but I don't think he was a horrible President. If he would have attacked Iraq I would have the upmost respect for him, and maybe even liked him. It's too bad he didn't have the guts to do it.

If it makes me selfish, because I don't believe in socialism and believe protecting our country from attacks is the President's number one priority, then I'm proud to be called "selfish".

You're really Terry McAuliffe, aren't you? Or maybe his parrot?

Nah...you sound too much like a true believer. Although he may spout it, I seriously doubt that McAuliffe (or his parrot, for that matter) seriously believes anything you just posted. It just makes for good propaganda, and of course, the bigger the lie...right?

I think you give McAuliffe too much credit, of course he believes some of it. This is the same guy that said Jeb Bush was toast in 2002 right before he went on to win by 15%. He is either a moron or Hilliary's puppet, if you believe the conspiracy theory. Who ever came up with the grand idea to attack Bush's National Guard service, which my money is on McAuliffe or Kerry himself, must be the most politically ignorant person ever to run a campaign. It will especially go over well when the DNC starts running ads on it, as the forgery scandal goes on. I feel like I've lost more and more brain cells with each reply I made on this non-issue.
