Instead of focusing on the military records turned over by the Pentagon, which prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Bush skipped out on a critical defense drill, skipped his physical, didn't show up in Alabama, and then continues to lie about all of it, CBS chose instead to go for a blockbuster announcement of documents it found on its own.

CBS, sadly, did Bush a favor. The lazy American public will think that just because the Killian memos might be forgeries that ALL the recently released records are the same, and that is certainly not the case.

Throw out the Killian memos and Bush STILL didn't show up in Alabama when he was supposed to, STILL signed two commitment letters he did not honor, STILL missed key training, STILL skipped out on his physical, STILL wasted a million dollars in training, STLL has missing required records, STILL got out of the National Guard with special favors. It's all in the released records.

And Bush STILL lied about all of it.

Just a general question here. Why do you post crap to stir the pot and then never reply to the responses?

He is not the least bit interested in your opinion. Some people just love to hear themselves talk.

Most of us just ignore him.
I used to see an old bum walking the streets around Baton Rouge High, just holding a conversation, with no one but himself. Kinda reminds me of rex.:)

    lsugrad00,

in answer to your question, I do not respond because I have learned that Bush supporters are more interested in ad hominems than in defending the issues.

My posts here have been about Bush, but those who have responded have posted mostly about me, although they do not know me from Adam. I give those respondents the attention they deserve: none.

    fair enough...

I've seen several respondants ask what I felt were fair questions and you seem to just gloss over everyone except those with similar opinions.

I understand not wanting to get into a pissing contest, especially when people turn to personal attacks. I just hate to think you would lump all Bush supporters together and not respond to anything. That's what this board is all about expressing opinions that not everyone agrees with.

I disagree with 99% of what you post but I still read them, if they're not to long :D.

    Marine Tiger,

you accused me of "chickensh*t disrespect" for our soldiers killed in battle.

Apparently it's your position that we cannot express outrage over our young people being killed on Bush's lies.

I have a son of my own of military age, who thinks this war is an outrage, and is now in danger of being drafted. I have a dear and cherished nephew who is already in the military, and will most likely be shipped to Iraq soon. I have a young Marine friend already there.

This is all very personal to me. How f*cking dare you criticize me of disrespect for our soldiers when I make arguments whose goal is to bring them home safely.

You got off on a wrong foot with me.

There's your explanation for why you're being ignored.

You better damn well believe I said that and 100% back that up and agree with it because it was quite a chicken **** comment anyway you want to slice it. It's people like you that disgusts me. Taking the lives of soldiers and turning them into meaningless stats just to try and make their argument stronger. Almost as good as the New York Times coverage of Fallujah during the siege a few months back. :dis: :cuss:

I am glad you have family and friends over in Iraq. They will be fine.

Just a note, whenever you do not respond to meaningful retorts, it just shows how truly sad your argument has gotten. I understand wanting to stay away from the posts with no other thought behind it other then "YOU SUCK, blah blah blah" but many people have come back with proven stats and facts that you can't answer. It's quite funny

BTW, good call on the Bush records.

It's YOU who call their deaths meaningless, not me.

It is I who will keep reminding people that there's an actual tragic human cost to Bush's lies.

It is YOU who make the stats meaningless by trying to sweep it under a rug.

Now, that's the last response you'll get from me until you apologize. Bye.
