As proud as I am of the Tigers' gutsy win in Tuscaloosa, I'm concerned that Addai is done being the real Addai for the remainder of the year. Can Vincent tote the mail 25 times a game and make D's respect the Tiger run? It seems he'll need to if the Tigers are to win the SEC and the Sugar. And who besides he and Shyrone might step up at tailback? :geauxtige
Well, we did OK against what may be the best defense in the nation. I think we can manage against Ole Miss and Arkansas.
Bama was the best team LSU faced all season and for the rest of the season not counting the Bowl game. LSU beat Bama without him and I doubt we will see as good a defense even in a bowl game. Yes LSU can win without Addai but I would rather have him than not, same with Alley.
I think Addai will get better. But if he doesn't get healthy then Vincent can carry the load. He is getting his confidencee back. He is looking good in the flat also.
Vincent did a good job yesterday, running harder than he has since the Sugar Bowl. He can carry the load the next two weeks, and I'd be shocked if Addai isn't 100% in the bowl game. Still, losing Broussard was a big blow to our offense this year.
we'll likely face WVA and rich rodriguez in the sugar if all plays out. they are one-dimensional and run. they look lost when forced to throw. a great matchup for LSU and one we should look forward to even though the mounties are not a big media draw. LSU could shine in this game. they do have a great defense as well though. one of the unsung defenses in the nation but we've established ourselves already so we'll be ok.
I'm wondering if Miles will go ahead let Korte, Jackson, or Robinson run with the first team to see how they do.. maybe the top guy will see playing time and just burn a redshirt... I dont believe in redshirting everyone anyway... you have to have guys coming back with experience...
nor did you face a healthy LSU.......your team got beat, accept it, learn from it, look forward to next week....no excuses
