Well I was on my computer at work and it was slow like OSU. Now I'm home and it's not bad at all.

To answer the original question...Yes! Trade it in on a 286 and get a dial up. I will never forget the first picture I downloaded, it was the famous picture of the brave Chinese student standing in front of a tank in T. Square. It took about an hour to download. I was so proud! Technology is spoiling us!

 

If you have an older computer, replace windows with linux and be amazed at the difference.

It took five minutes to get to the point where I could start typing. Then probably another two minutes after I hit the submit button.
