I actually believe that right now, La Tech is scheduled for the Cox Sports cable station for live and tape delay broadcast. Of course, this is subject to change.

My understanding is that Cox will LIVE broadcast every LSU game not picked up by national, regional, or JP broadcasts. The reason I say this is because, up in Monroe, I've seen blurbs on the TV about ULM football and about how Cox Sports will be carrying the ULM/LSU game.

How do you get Cox in Monroe? I'm in West Monroe and all I can get is Time Warner. Do you have a choice in Monroe?

I actually don't live in Monroe, but about 40 miles to the Southwest in Hodge. Jonesboro-Hodge cable is run by Cox. Cox is also the cable company in Ruston. I'm surprised you aren't getting them, I thought Cox was the exclusive cable provider for all of Louisiana.

Anyway, I saw a blurb on KNOE TV-8 about how the ULM Indians were kicking off the season August 31st at LSU and that that game could be seen at 7PM on Cox Sports TV for Louisiana viewers. So that leads me to believe that all LSU games will be live, with repeated showings on tape delay. Last year, Cox also carried two ULM games and some of the D1-AA playoffs live via ESPN Gameplan, which leads me to believe Cox has some agreement with ESPN. I could be wrong though.

I seriously doubt LSU will allow a non-conference home game to be played on cable TV for free. On Tigervision pay-per-view, I could believe that. I would be shocked if it was just on cable.

I don't think it's for free. Cox and LSU came to some kind of agreement last year to broadcast not just football, but a lot of LSU sports. And I'm quite certain money changed hands. Remember, Cox also has their name on the new Academic Center for Athletes. They are big money sponsors for LSU.

    Hi, Jetstorm.
To my knowledge, the Monroe/West Monroe area is all Time Warner. I lived in Ruston for a while and had Cox there. I wish it was available here. Time Warner sucks.
