The thing about Reggie Bush and USC is none of that would have come to light if he had signed with the agent who provided the benefits. He became upset when Bush went with another guy. So some who engaged in illegal activities in the past and became a little complacent may now be under more scrutiny which is why I feel you are hearing more issues in the news.
"Cam Newton is toast." Listen up fellas. This comes from a source that is very close to the situation. It is a reporter from my neck of the woods that always breaks the Brett Favre news. I won't give his name now, but if you can't figure it out, you will know soon enough. Keep in mind that he said all of this stuff "off the record". Apparently, the "Cam Newton tapes" are going to be coming out the first part of next week. They exist and they will be released. According to the source "Cam Newton is toast" says the reporter at a family Thanksgiving gathering yesterday. He went on to say that he and John Bond and Kenny Rogers go way back and when asked why they are waiting until now to release the tapes he said that they had to get some things together. This is going to be HUGE. Take that FWIW. Stay tuned.....
Rogers already said what he had recorded and it has been in the news. I doubt there will be any bombshell recordings released by either of those two. However I would be pleasantly surprised.
I really hope this blows up ASAP. This cloud lingering over the SEC and it's possible champion is not good.

True or not the fact the different people are hearing the same thing from different people has gotta say something. And none of us got it off a message board. To give you an idea of just how much this is going around in the inner circle, I live in NV my source lives in FL, and I'm pretty certain that CS and Bhelm are closer to LA than either of us. People in the real know are certainly hearing something and they are starting to let it out, whether true or not, but it isn't a coincident that it is the same thing they are saying.
The FBI being involved is all you need to know that something serious is going on. However there have been so many unsubstantiated rumors around it, it's definitely not clear when anything will happen.
or if. As much as I want to believe what Legacy and others are saying, I am still suspicious. Agree with you Legacy that several of you with different sources in different regions makes you scratch your head and say "is there something to this", but rumors have a way of taking a life of their own. If something comes to fruition by early next week, many of us will give kudos where they are due. Guess we will find out soon enough. Tigers need to take care of business tomorrow. They are the better TEAM overall, so I am hoping they do!
