You can't make that argument. For 1 Cam Newton scored 2 touchdowns. He accounted for 303 yards of the offense. McCaleb scored on a 70 yard scamper, and do you think he breaks that run if the defense isn't keying in on Newton? Hell no, as a matter of fact, I would wager that Auburn doesn't even score on us if not for SCam Newton.

Yep ... and I hang out on the Hogsville board as well ... and believe me, the little piggies do not see LSU as an obtacle at all. In fact, they pretty much are treating MSU like we are treating Olpiss ..... and chomping at the bit to beat LSU. ......

Hoping that AU vacates .. and they go to the SEC ch game.

I totally disagree. If TCU were playing in the SEC alot more of those Texas kids would want to go to school there. Their recruiting would fly through the roof. TCU would be a threat to win the West in 3 or 4 seasons after they join.

So basically our boards are mirror images. Only ours has more teeth.

Yes I have, many times. And the recruits would want to go there because they would be part of the SEC. More money for the school, more television time, maybe even stadium renovations. Alot of those Texas recruits want to play in the SEC but want to stay close to home.

    +1

.. and, we tend to be a tad more sane! At least we recognize AR as a threat ... they don't seem to think LSU is even a worthy opponent.

Respectfully disagree. ESPN has a business partnership with the NCAA and a vested interest in college football. The last thing they are is a journalism org. that's interested in breaking this story. They are bending over backwards to make sure that they only report and even speculate on things that are proven as facts so far. They are the last people to get out in front on stories like this.

maybe...but I dont thinks its a given that TCU could even come close to replacing the likes of an Auburn. Maybe, but I dont see it.

I think without Newton ... TCU beats AU ... hands down.
