Ole Siss reminds me of a very well-known character from a movie about the Old South. Everything about Ole Siss reminds me of that refined gentleman Colonel Ashley Wilkes! Remember him from Gone With the Wind? He was the wimpy guy who couldn't even beat up a girl, if he had to. Now LSU reminds me of the guy that beats the crap out of Ashley Wilkes, takes his money, and steals his wife and has Scarlett on the side. Of course, that character wasn't in the movie, but there you have it. Anyway, that's what Rhett Butler should have done in that movie. :geaux: :lsug:

LaFitte, Ashley Wilkes was also an officer in Cobb's Legion. Not exactly a bunch of wimps from accounts at Seven Days, Antietam and Fredericksburg... Does the, "Sunken Road," ring a bell? Perhaps Ole Miss will put up a tough fight as well..??
