Call me crazy, but... I say give Les Miles one more year. He's starting so many freshman in key positions and has a 1st year starting QB. I really think we should give him a shot at next year.. If he can't make the playoff next year or at least be very close, then go ahead and fire him.. Then the question becomes: who is gonna replace him? Unless it's Nick Saban or Urban Meyer (which, of course, it won't be), then I say it's really a 50/50 proposition that we get somebody better.. Just my 2 cents
Somebody doesn't get it. We win in spite of Les Miles, not because of him. He is inept. Now that he doesn't have a DC to save his ass, you're seeing the embarrassing results for a 3rd straight week. Time for some perspective.
Time for some perspective? How about a 78% winning percentage, a National Championship, a runner up and a couple of SEC Championships? islstl, I think you need some perspective... .. and if you think he is winning only because it's LSU and no one could lose there, you must not be old enough to remember the 1990s
We are "young" is always a good excuse. If the season continues to go this way how many "old" players will head to the NFL?
I don't disagree with you, Sour. Nick Saban loses guys every year, and has a top program. But who are you gonna replace Miles with if you fire him now? I'd roll the dice with Les for 1 more year, before rolling the dice with an unknown quantity...
Me! lol Honestly, I don't have any answers only questions at this point. Our record the last few years hasn't been good especially late in the season. Tired of getting blown out by Bama much less losing!
