Personally that guy is amazing, despite his stats he is amazing... On two plays I remember our entire section (5 in the south so we had a good view of it) that all of us said "holy cow" Our D was to fast for the outside runs, but when he made a cut he did it on a dime and on one occasion, Hills Jock was left on the 30. I think he is very solid. I have a question will he go pro next year (Auburn fans ???)
Considering he hasnt yet had an injury free year, I imagine if he makes it through this year unhurt, he will enter the draft. Its either that, or come back to share the ball with Brown, Jacobs, and Smith again, as well as risk injury. He is probably a first round lock as it is now. If he gets hurt again, he may not be.
Yep he is a great player. I remember in that Syracuse game (last year?) he was awesome. Seems like as long as his line blocks half way decent (such as stopping Lavalais from hitting him 3 yards behind the line) he always finds a way to get that extra yard.
Most Auburn fans think that if he makes it through this season without injury, that he'll leave for the NFL...and I've yet to hear anyone fault him for it. Mel Kiper seems to think he'd be the first runningback taken. If that's the case, he'd be crazy to come back and I'd wish him all the luck in the world. In fact, I'd hope there was some way either the Titans (my favorite team) or the Cowboys (second favorite) could end up with him.
Well I'm definitely no NFL talent expert but if he finishes the season injury-free, I think he's gone. I hope he goes to the Titans so it'd be easier to watch him play... If Carnell goes, I think Ronnie stays. He'd be the starter no doubt...
Yeah, I have to echo the sentiments of TexasTigers. He was pretty amazing. After seeing him turn nothing into 10 yards a couple of times, it frighten the heck out of me every time he touched the ball. Dominating. Head and shoulders above anyone else I have seen this season or for that matter, the last few seasons. He should definitely go pro. He is first round material.
I don't know about Cadilliac on the saints, but I wish the saints would look at Dansby or Dontarrious Thomas at Linebacker
Thanks guys, It appears Auburn has someone to step right in if he leaves (Sort of like LSU with the 5 RB's we got) He is a fantastic player. I noticed Rudy (The Old Auburn guy) getting carries in Cincy this week as well. Of course Double D, One of LSU's finest is the man in Houston. Geaux Tigers
Dominick Davis has two 100 yard rushing games for the team formerly known as the Houston Oilers. He is in the mix for Rookie of the year.
I guess technically the Titans are the team formerly known as the Oilers but DD is starting to make me a Texans fan.
