So basically what you are saying is that all AU posters are un-welcome by you and as long as we have anything to say about AU and chose to post it here youll just take relentless unprovoked jabs at us simply because we are here??? Kind of petty dont you think. I mean in the end we are all football fans and we are just here to talk about it.

I think what he's saying is that you're a guest here...and that if you take exception to what some of our posters have to say about Auburn, then nobody is holding a gun to your head forcing you to stick around. You choose to be here, in what is, frankly, hostile territory...so either stop whining about it, and roll with the punches, or don't let the door hit ya.

 

I think we've had quite a few good Auburn posters around here and AUMorgan is one of them, but we're still gonna take jabs at the fake Tigers every chance we get.

 

I think, actually, that Morgan hit the nail exactly on the head.

 

I agree. I just don't like it when they come in here to an LSU forum, and tell us how we should be behaving...especially when
I personally witnessed the boorish behavior of several Auburn
students/fans at the game this year.

 

Well Im glad at least someone understands the point I was trying to make.

Trust me Id completely understand if you were all throwing shots at me if Id come in here and been totally slamming LSU and trying to get a rise out of everybody. But this was started as just an informative thread, just a tidbit of info thrown out there so you all would know. It wasnt started as a hostile thread, but it got turned into a bash AU thread. Its your board and yes I am a GUEST, but just for the record, Ive been one of the better AU fans around here. And I dont think I should get jabbed at simply for talking about AU. I stick around here because its a good forum to talk football, and I dont think my opinion is any less valuable simply because I pull for the "other" tigers.

Believe me I most definitely roll with most of the punches around here. There are many times that Id like to rant and flame at you guys for some of the stuff I read, but I keep my mouth shut because it is YOUR forum. But the cheap shots just because Im here and briefly mention AU are just petty. I like this place because MOST of you are above the pettiness, but those that arent are just way over the top sometimes. And I wasnt telling anyone how to act over here, I was just asking dhead why he is so petty as to take shots at the mere mention of AU.

Hey pot, meet kettle. We all know EVERYONE has fans like that. Hell I recall the ABC announcers at the Sugar Bowl saying they had to move because the LSU fans were throwing things. HELLO??? Cant you see that every fanbase has its idiots?? I wouldnt lump you all into that category and Id just like the same courtesy.

Never said it was YOU, Morgan. I just don't appreciate it when somebody comes in here and ranks on OUR behavior, when by
what I witnessed in the West upper deck, they aren't capable of
taking care of their own. And you can say all you want that "we
ALL have fans like that", but that BRPD officer wasn't stationed
up in my section in the middle of the first quarter because of the
LSU fans throwing cups of ice, if you get my meaning.

When I come over to the Auburn board and start telling YOU how to act, THEN you can rank on me all you want. Until such time, you
should once again realize that YOU are the one who chooses to be here. Nobody's forcing you to be here but YOU.
And if you don't like what's said, then responding the way you do
only invites more of the same, until it just degenerates into a
pissing contest.

 

Incidentally, your posts do beg the question: Knowing how
some LSU fans are going to react to anything posted about Auburn, why do you come over here and post about Auburn anyway? Are you looking for an argument?

 

Let me just go on the record by saying that when Bauburn has won the following, they can come on this board and look at LSU in the eye:

Two SEC Championships

Two BCS Bowl game wins

One National Championship.

Until they accomplish these things, they need to bow before the LSU Fighting Tigers.
