I think his family is telling him to stay at LSU, so that should work in our favor. Come back C. Webster.

    Strait or Webster?

    Who's the best corner?

Was the Thorpe Award home cooking?

I'd take Webster over Strait any day.

I love CWeb, but Derick Strait has to be the best tackling corner in college football. I haven't seen a corner support the run defense that effectively in quite a while. Coverage wise, I think they are about even.

Lehman and Strait were around the ball constantly during the Sugar Bowl. Those two guys deserved the accolades and awards they got. Those other clowns that called themselves winners, like Mr. Heisman, well... we all know what happened there.

Strait is also the guy who ran down Justin Vincent and prevented him from scoring on the first play from scrimmage in the Sugar Bowl.

I think the NFL will prove that Strait is overrated. He's good, but I don't think he is as great as everybody believes.

Well I don't know how you can say that after watching the Sugar Bowl. Strait single handedly kept OU in the game defensively.

And he easily caught Vincent from behind.

Strait has incredible speed and his coverage is blanketing just like Webster. But don't take anything away from Webster in the speed dept. If you recall earlier this year, he ran down quite a few players that otherwise would have scored if he had given up on the play.
