Pels trade C.J., Kelly Olynyk and a future 2nd round pick to Washington for Jordan Poole, Saddiq Bey and the no. 40 pick in tomorrow's draft. Statistically, McCollum and Poole were virtually identical in 24-25, but Poole's a lot younger. Letting Olynyk go suggests to me the Pels are looking at Derik Queen with the 7 pick, or could take Ace Bailey if he falls to them (I think I'd rather have Queen). Hopefully not - as some are suggesting - thinking about Khaman Maluach, who is way too much of a project to take with a lottery pick IMO.
