I was at the Tennessee game, 97 Florida game, 2001 Alabama game, 2001 Mississippi State game and many more. Never
has Tiger Stadium been that special, in my opinion. I truly beleive that it is the best atmosphere in college football and we still get no respect. In addition, we have beaten every team in the east (except Vandy) in the last three years and we still get no respect.

My ears are still ringing. The 1982 Florida State game may have been louder . . . but not by much.

It was a great crowd but I beleive the LSU/Auburn game from 2001 was just as loud.

I think the sound reverberates better at night. No matter when we play Tiger Fans are the best.

USC 1979, no one in the stadium ever sat or stpped yelling,IMHO.

'79 USC, '97 Florida still come to mind. Also, '79 USC was with FAR fewer fans

Doesn't anyone remember the '88 Auburn Game??? The "earthquake" game was by far the loudest ever in Tiger stadium history, hands down.

The earthquake game may have been the loudest single moment when Fuller caught the touchdown pass, but it didn't have the sustained crowd noise the whole game like last night, or Tennessee a couple of years ago.

I was there. Just my opinion.
