That forecast is notoriously conservative. He's got USC beating Hawaii by 13 pts...Michigan over N. Illinois by 13...OU over TCU by 9 etc. Plus, N Texas does have two very highly rated RBs.

A win is a win and I don't believe margin of victory counts in the BCS anyway.

but TRUST me... if we beat NT by only 10... we will all be upset...

don't give me this 'a win is a win' stuff... that only works in the NFL

But it counts in the minds of the pole-voters. And ask USC, that's all it takes for a National Championship.

you bet... it isn't a direct factor... but it IS a factor in things that do factor in the BCS...

I think the new HArris Poll in the middle of the year will help a lot

That new poll should help a lot. Who knows, maybe Auburn wouldn't have gotten screwed last year. Speaking of the preseason poll, let me bring something else up. Has anyone noticed that Penn St. is in the Top 25 every year no matter how bad they were the year before. I know they recruited the top WR in the country, but it's been like this for years. They're always #24 or #25 right at the bottom as if to put them in just for show.
