California said they would make around 2 Billion dollars a year if it was legalized. I think its closer than we actually think.
I wouldnt smoke it if it was legal, but Id love to smell it.

I have to agree with the others and call BS on this one. Years of misleading and down right false propaganda by the government are going to be very hard to overcome. The only thing weed is a gateway to is the munchies.

LOL at the idea, regardless of the glut of Internet testimonials, that smoking homemade cigarettes will alleviate a respiratory condition.

This will be the only statement in favor of marijuana I will ever post.....I've had more than one state trooper tell me (off the record, of course) that given their druthers, they wouldn't mind seeing marijuana legalized if they make alcohol illegal in the process. They would much rather deal with a stoner than a drunk.

You're right. I, for instance, have never touched any form of illegal narcotic. But I still manage to self-destruct, every weekend on the golf course.

I am for legalization. Booze was illegal, it didn't work. People got it, the black marketeers made a fortune, folks got killed for breaking into the wrong distribution area. Total failure.

Pot? Same story. Booze was legalized and taxed, so should pot.

I don't smoke anything, so it doesn't help me. Just a practical thing.

Keeping pot illegal? Total failure, just like prohibition in the 30's.

Yes it has been a total failure. However like most failed government programs expect the politicians to keep throwing money at it, doing the same things that have failed repeatedly. The answer to every problem in Washington is just to throw more money at it.

So if it does get leagalized, all of this money we save and earn from the taxation will just go to settling the TONS of lawsuits that are going to result from people being arrested for possession and currently serving time.

What do you do? Say I'm sorry and let them go?
