Forgive me if this has already been mentioned on that long ass Mauck thread. I wasn't about to read every post. http://www.9news.com/acm_news.aspx?...MPLATEID=af6b6b60-ac1f-02c5-0012-a9383dc2f691 ENGLEWOOD, Colo.-The Denver Broncos on Friday signed free-agent quarterback Matt Mauck to their practice squad and waived defensive tackle Nick Eason from that unit, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced. Mauck, 6-1, 213 pounds, made the Broncos' 53-man roster as a rookie this season but was released Sept. 22. A 2004 seventh-round draft choice from Louisiana State, Mauck completed 28-of-52 passes (53.8%) for 335 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in five preseason games with Denver. The Broncos' first of three seventh-round selections (225th overall) in the 2004 NFL Draft, Mauck played in 23 games (20 starts) in three years at LSU, completing 310-of-529 passes (58.6%) for 3,831 yards with 35 touchdowns and 21 interceptions. A two-year starter, he led LSU to an 18-2 overall record during that period and helped the team to a share of the National Championship in 2003, its first since 1958. Mauck also was a sixth-round selection in the 1997 Amateur Baseball Draft, playing three seasons in the Chicago Cubs' organization. Mauck, who earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology at LSU, is a native of Jasper, Ind., and was a three-sport athlete at Jasper High School (football, baseball and basketball). He was born Feb. 12, 1979, in Evansville, Ind.
W/the cap, teams have to adjust the bottom 3 players all the time. It's like your cut but don't go anywhere.
