Did any of you think that Brit Hume was horrible on Fox. I like Fox because it has as fair of reporting as you can find and i was very dissapointed in Brit Hume as an anchor person for the election coverage.

He was bumbling his way through things all night.

He had trouble making his points and even talking sometimes. If i didnt know better i would say he had been drinking?

    Thats my take anyway.

I noticed that too. About 90% of the time it appeared that someone was screaming into his earpiece and he was trying to talk and listen at the same time.

yeah was brought up last night but then again just about all of them were horrible. Sadly, it was expected from the others but not fox. Fox was the last to make a call on the states...ABC was ahead of fox by over 15-20 minutes on some states. Plus, they had some female analyst who sounded like she smoked a carton a day who was mocking the people/states when they were called for Bush saying, yeah Bush won Louisiana....that's like saying Mondale won Minnesota. Not sure who that tranny was.

Brit Hume was really messed up and confused. Maybe he had too many idiots talking in his ear with precautions on everything.

dan blather just now stated Ohio is a lean to Bush but its too close to call. Check back by thanksgiving.

Fox called Ohio 20 minutes before NBC did. When I turned the TV on at 7:00 this morning, ABC had not yet projected Ohio for Bush. As you pointed out, CBS has yet to color Ohio red.

Tirk I know you were watching CBS off and on in the early am hours... Did you see how irritated Ed Bradley (sp?) was getting with Rather? It was pretty amusing. I thought older than dead Ed was going to make Rather a deceased man as well.

yeah i watched it when the others had pretty much mailed it in.

I was totally amused by it since Rather would not give Ohio to Bush no matter what so he could hang on to Kerry winning. So, he proceeds to say this thing is far from over with 4 states too close to call (after 4am) then goes to his expert. Expert goes through the list and says if a miracle occurred then Kerry could get 269.

That was way after Bradley was disgusted and probably left the set since he had just explained it to blather for the 100th time.

She must have had a ton of cosmetic surgery, because I remember back when she was defending slick willie so vigorously, she was really, really ugly.

She truly had a face for radio.

her voice is enough to make you like finger nails grating on a chaulk board. I pity her poor significant other/ husband. I bet he gets ill when she gets frisky. LOL

Hume has always been pretty stiff. But he seems kind of slow these days, too. My guess is that he'll soon be joining Dan Rather at the Retired Anchorman's Club.
