    I Agree

I agree with your assesment. I think I was more impressed with Mauck than you were. Randall looked to be just a frustrating as last season.

Amp Hill will be fun to watch. Our opponents are going to have trouble trying to cover everyone. It should be great for Clayton. Double cover Clayton and someone else will burn you.

I wonder if Saban is going to give Jimbo the "keys" to the offense and let him do his thing, like the '01 season after the ole miss game.

Matt Flynn's Dad and I were teammates at Baylor, and Matt is the real deal. He played the last four playoff games last year with a broken foot. He has a very strong arm, and can sense the pressure from the backside in the pocket, without looking. He can also throw under intense pressure and when he runs, he punishes people. He has a Bronko Nagurski mentality when it comes to running. He can outrun most, but those he can't he just lowers his head and delivers a blow.

We really wanted him to come to Baylor, but he had his heart set on LSU. I wish him and the Bayou Bengals good luck this season.
