I think he went back to pro baseball.

We also lost Matt Stoltz and Sean Merrill.

Those two have been gone but West figured to have a major role this season and it is the first I have heard of him leaving. Was it the new staff or baseball money anyone know?

Actually there has been plenty of speculation about West probably going back to baseball, this is not a surprise.

West was a very disciplined player, but I would like to see a D-End that can get us 13-14 sacks.

West probably had a chance to start this year...oh well we have plenty of line depth....all young but still.

A Positive is that Melvin Oliver is back. I look for big things from him next year. He had such a solid frosh year. Actually lead the team in sacks I think.
