He is listed as the FOURTH RB on the depth chart. He's played sparingly in both of AU's losses and has ONE carry for ONE yard. Hmmmm...I wonder if this is what Tubby promised him? And, I wonder if he's wondering "WHAT THE HELL DID I DO?"
I don't even think he has gotten a carry (from what the Aubies are saying), he came in on one play against Tech and lined up next to the tight end....I bet he is not too happy about the situation
From the official Auburn site - he's got ONE carry for ONE yard. I wonder if this is what Tubby led him to believe his role would be? If he's not too happy about the situation, he has no one to blame but himself. Another case of an athlete leaving his home state in order to chase a pie in the sky. Does anybody know why he refused to accept LSU's scholarship offer?
Sorry MY BAD! You were right. It was Brandon JOHNSON and not Brandon JACOBS. Johnson is a Senior Fullback from Bayou La Batre, LA - never heard of him!
for the record . .Brandon Jacobs has admitted publically that CTT told him to rethink coming to Auburn because the backs that we have. If you look at the per carry rush yards for CArnell and Ronnie - they aren't bad - especially when you see the non-existant holes being opened for them by our horribly coached OL. You can get on CTT for a TON of stuff right now, 99% which I will agree with - but Jacobs was warned and chose to come anyway . . BTW - Brandon Johnson is a very solid FB - picked as one of the top in the SEC preseason - however, probably because it would make too much sense, he isn't seeing the field at all . . grrrrrrrrr . ..I'm so sick about our situation right now . .
AL not LA Bayou La Batre is in Alabama, south of Mobile. It's the home of the Bubba-Gump Shrimp company. Don't think there is a Bayou La Batre, Louisiana
Re: AL not LA You're probably right. It's listed in the Auburn Roster as "LA" - it probably should have be "AL". See Roster under Brandon Johnson -- Auburn Roster
