Rumor has it that Brady is being considered for another coaching job, and he may leave. Anybody hear anything about this?

I heard that Illinois is interested in him. Well I hope he does not leave LSU but you can never tell these days.

I seriously doubt Ill. would go after brady. Brady is already a very highly paid coach, so they would have to offer a lot more. Plus, Ill. is a big name school which cares a lot about basketball, so they will go after much better. Hopefully I am wrong about this.

-T- is probably right. What does Illinois know? Have they been to high school games to see Brady taking notes on offense? I'm sure they'll check with -T- before making up their minds though.

    Who to believe?
Dand Don says, "I know that there have been brutal fans criticizing John openly and that he is one of the LOWEST paid basketball coaches in the SEC".

"T" Which is it, do you "hope you are wrong" that Brady is leaving or "hope you are wrong" that Illinois will go after a much better coach.

Personally, I think it is a vicious rumor started by Tuhoo to dampen the enthusiasm that LSU fans feel after the NCAA Tournament bid and the number one ranked recruiting class. ;)

  7. I suspect he could be in hot water with Emmert or skip over his antics and record lately. I hope he doesnt go though, he's a good guy and good coach.

With the players he has coming in, it's in Bradys best interest to stay here for a few years. These are the kind of players that can win you a SEC championship and take you high in the NCAA tournament. If he's looking for greener pastures, better to go after a couple of big winning seasons.

ESPN throws out as many names as they can in this article but as you can see there is no Brady Mention .

Then again, ESPN also threw Saban's name in every NFL coaching vacancy that came available and none of that played out.

However, if he doesn't produce anything with this recruiting class and it doesn't live up to its promise, then Brady's career might be done. If he believes that he is a good coach, then he will stick around. If not, then he will take that big contract for what its worth...$$$$.

Personally, i would like to see him be there for his #1 recruiting class.
