Does it really matter all that much how you start out? I thought it was how you finished that counted. Pure emotional speculation on your part. Show me some empirical data to back up your assertion and we'll talk. Otherwise, it's just your opinion. It's still playing in March, isn't it? I don't know about you, but to me, being one of the 96 teams still playing in March beats the hell out of being one of the 200+ teams on the outside looking in. And given LSU's basketball history (ONE, count 'em, ONE postseason tourney title EVER - the 1980 SEC Tournament title), I'm guessing you'd be quite happy with a championship in that "pathetic" tournament.
Yeah, I don't know about you, but if I were a top-tier Division 1 basketball coach looking to come here, one of the first things I'd look for when making my decision is the spelling ability of the program's supporters. Sheesh.
There is gulf of difference between wanting to fire Brady and not wanting to reward him with a long-term deal. I think he needs to keep this six-week success up for another two years before he's given the keys for a long run. The past six-weeks indicate that John Brady has it in him to win big. Can he sustain it for more than two months?
That's interesting...I didn't know I was talking about the Brady Bashers... I can tell you this...I don't care about who else dislikes him...I've been on this path comfortably by myself for awhile now...Telling how even now, people are STILL sour on Brady after a season of "alleged" success. Hell, you all want to talk about the field of 64 as if it's some milestone accomplishment...Something Dale could never do consistently...Dale did it RELIGIOUSLY...and Brady's done it how many times? Twice? Soon to be Thrice? At the current clip, we'll have one arrest for domestic violence or an incident in which our players bones are broken because of petty temper tantrums by superstars who flame out and sell their team out every other year... Shawnson Johnson, JueMichael Young, & Jaime Lloreda have all shown their asses in just 8 short years...Which means we'll have a teammate sell out, flame out, or just plain beat down students or teammates at the same clip as we make the tournament? HS Basketball talent's own relatives about on this very board and was told he could speak or meet with the recruit to hear about Brady-FIRST HAND-from a prospective player... LOL!
