WHY? Their GAY EAST COAST TUNNEL VISION LIBERAL CKSKNG AP voter Tim Layden has gone on record as saying USC gets #1 after a Rose Bowl win. http://www.nytimes.com/2003/12/10/s...all/10POLL.html "Nothing is ever absolute in these things, but I cannot imagine any scenario in which I would not vote U.S.C. No. 1 after winning the Rose Bowl," said one of the voters, Tim Layden of Sports Illustrated. "Michigan is a very strong opponent at this point — possibly stronger than L.S.U. or Oklahoma, despite the two early losses — and style points are insignificant in a game like that." BOYCOTT SPORTS ILLUSTRATED ... don't buy their crap ... cancel your scripts ... tell 'em why too ... if their arsehole AP voters cannot keep an open mind ... stick their business from LSU where the sun don't shine
I haven't subscribed to SI for a while. It seems like the only reason to now is for the covers and for some of the stuff inside. I can find all that info and more on the internet....
True but you have to go through a hell of a lot of sites that want you to pay before you find the really free stuff
This is the problem: Pure idiocy. The guy just makes himself look stupid. Everyone has an opinion. I think I would have said something like "if both LSU and USC win," it is going to possibly the toughest vote ever conducted in the AP to determine our NC." Some people might smack on that statement, but I think it is a fairly objective description of the situation. Don't let the idiots get to ya. If USC wins, there will be plenty of people who aren't willing to give the title to LSU. It's called BIAS. It's out there. Nothing you can do about it.
The problem is ................... this idiot has an AP vote ... and he doesn't mind CAMPAIGNING WITH THE NYT ... for the Bathouse Brigade
For what it's worth, the one true LSU backer in the major media outlets has been Stewart Mandel of CNNSI.com. From a recent article Twice the fun, twice the controversy ------------------- We can sit around and lament a system that prevented the No. 1 team in the polls from playing for the undisputed national championship. (Personally, I lament the pollsters for not having the cojones to move LSU to No. 1 after crushing a top five team.) Fact is, the system did exactly what it was designed to do, which is select the two teams that, on paper, accomplished the most against the best competition. ------------------- Too bad he doesn't have an AP vote!
That's the point ... stewie has been FAIR to LSU all year ... I'll say that. The other bastid ... the one that votes ... is in serious need of a CUPCAKE E-MAIL & A BATH HOUSE BOY FARK ... YOU COULD PASS THEM TO LAYTON C/O Mandell ... that would be a "hoot" ... I wonder if Stewie'd do it.
