Did anyone see the fighting between the nebraska and MSU lines last night. There hasn't been that much fighting at the Alamo since Jim Bowie and Davie Crockett. I couldn't believe the continuing action and cheap shots in the pile that went unpenalized. I think the refs had to be letting it go. Not only last night, but I heard Hawaii and Houston had a little game of patty cake the other night. I turned it off right before the fight happened. I don't think this kind of thing would happen under Saban. Both coaches in the Nebraska/Mich. St. game saw what was happening before and during the game and should have controlled it. Classless.
What I saw was a Nebraska lineman who's last name is Incognito (he was to the refs too, apparently) putting his hands to the d lineman's face EVERY PLAY, and it was never called. It was so blatant that Herbstreit and Corso said something about it after a replay in the third quarter. This Incognito guy is first team all Big 12 at that. there was all kind of crap like this going on all night, and the refs did nothing to stop it. i wonder what conference they were from?
Yeah, I saw Incognito jabbing his hands in the face of the defender every single play, and the personal fouls were going against Mighigan St. Made me wonder if the officials were paid off or maybe they are just that horrible. It was so blatent it was almost funny. Even the Corso and Herbstreit were wondering why the officials were even out there.
That stuff may play in the Big 12, but if you try that w/ Messrs. Lavalais, Hill, and Co., you're liable to pull back a bloody stump.
I saw at least 3 helmets come flying off Kyle Turley style. Mesquite, the incognito bit was great, I forgot that was his name.
