Bring the best stuff you can find, we'll have blind taste test at a tailgate. Put your boudin where your mouth is :hihi:
Switching to cracklins aka "gratons", Goulas, a small country store just outside Breaux Bridge has the best. Try it, you'll like it. Even Mikie likes it !
Bourque's in Porte Barre has really good craklins and boudin. If you go there definitely try one of the jalepeno sausage cheese breads too. In Baton Rouge Ronnie's has good cracklins. There is also a little service station called Billy's in the big city of Krotz Springs that has outstanding boudin balls.
Man My wife and I absolutely LOVE to pork out until pucking stuffed on Tony's Cajun balls. Back in college it was a regular sunday picknick treat with a french quarter White Russan somewhere under a big live oak on campus. Today, its stopping at Tony's Sunday on the way out of town after a game with a cold beer in the parking lot!! Man we love those things. Nothing up here in ARky even compares.
Whenever I have a party I get a platter of boudin balls from Tonys to put on the table. It's always a hit.
