Jon Gruden mentioned on ESPN that a reason he thought they could be dominant up front was Anthony MacFarland. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!
Booger was kicking ass and taking names later last year but then a couple of injuries sidelined him during the Bucs playoff run last year. He was a dominant player during his years at LSU and hopefully he can become as dominating in his future years in the NFL. That said. F the Bucs. Go Saints!
Ol Booger was a player. I watched a game the other day 98 vs Georgia we lost by one. Booger had a great game watching that game and seeing everybody that was on that team it still escapes me how we fell on our faces even with the new cordinators the players we had.
I remember that UGA game because I was giving some dogs fans next to us hell while we were tailgating and had to eat my damn words.
My first class at LSU was like Math 101 or something and I had Booger and Chuck Wiley in the class. They both seemed like good guys. Booger was the class clown (in a good way) and Wiley was more reserved. Before LSU beat Auburn in 1995 12-6, Booger was trying to get our teacher, Mr. Simpson, to let him "borrow" his nice car for the weekend if LSU won the game. Mr. Simpson asked Booger what LSU was ranked (they weren't) and what Auburn was ranked (#3) and agreed if Booger promised to do some extra homework if LSU lost. Anyway, after LSU won Mr. Simpson said he checked into the NCAA rules and concluded he couldn't let Booger borrow the car. Of course, Mr. Simpson always called him Anthony even though the entire campus was already calling him Booger.
It was Lou Tepper. LSU Averaged 30 points a game in '98, Tepper messed up our Defense, DB's & LBers so badly we could not Stop Anyone that threw the football. DiNardo just watched it happen.
Lou Tepper should be locked up in a small windowless room and be forced to watch endless videos of his so called defense giving up huge chunks of yardage play after play. DiNardo should be in there with him for not firing him.
BUT BUT!! He wrote THE book on linebacking!! http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...104-4659896-7042367?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 :dis: :dis:
