Said that Ryan Perrilloux was on the phone with Martellus Bennett last night begging him to come to LSU with him. Take that for what it is worth. Also said that is why he pulled the commitment to UT off the board yesterday for RP. Happy days are here again!
Bobby Burden was with Bennett the entire time last night. Don't see why he would lie about it. The question is does losing Bennett also affect us losing RP? I don't think so.
Looking good for RP I am watching SouthWest Fox Sports recruiting right now and the guy from Rivals.com is on it. He just said that he has officially taken RP off of his Texas commitment list. He said RP was calling Lafell and trying to convince him to come to LSU. He said he fully expects RP to be a Tiger tomorrow.

The only problem was LSU really does not have a talented TE at this point after David Jones leaves this year. We really needed him.
That makes me sick. Bennett's dad just said he probably would have chosen LSU if the basketball coaches would have shown more interest. Thank you John Brady.
Yes, I just saw that too. His dad straight up said that if LSU would have given him a chance to play baketball, he would have most likely been coming to LSU. Oh well.
