Doubt it, there were plenty of LSU fans who were questioning Pelini last year but he left it on a good note so it was all forgiven/forgotten, I s'pose.
I like to see a coach fired up on the sideline. It shows the players his passion and can fire them up. One thing I can't stand is to see a coach standing on the sideline looking like he doesn't care as his team plays poorly. Bo is a defensive guy, he's supposed to be spitting fire and snarling.
People always say this, but why? If that's not him, it's not. When I met one of Miles' OSU players at PT in the summer of '06, he told me that while Miles might not freak out on the sidelines, he was really tough behind closed doors in practice.
Thank you. You can't have a coach that preaches poise snapping at what moves, who then would take him seriously? But that's the hat and that is how he rolls. Pelini is establishing himself as a head coach of a team getting ready to be forgotten. Seems that notion goes through him now and he will be dammed. I love a coach in the face waking up the dead. Bet some recipients have tried real hard to not let it happen again. He wants to be taken serious and put folks on notice that the old slips will not be tolerated any longer. In the end, it is how players respond to the approach a head coach. If they respond well to poise their play will show, if they respond better to a bull in the grill, game on. Nebraska was 6-7 overall last year, they are now 5/4 where this time last year they were dead last in their division. When it starts not making them better, sit him down then. I love Bo Pelini, mostly for his heart and I will always be grateful for his contributions. :tigereye:
Was fired after that incident too. Hate to see a legendary coach go down like that. His legacy has been tarnished to fans outside of OSU.
