First of all, this is an honest question I have, so please do not degenerate into childish ranting. Do any of you really like and support Blanco? And if so, why? Or are all of her supporters simply anti-Jindal or anti-republican? I totally understand and accept that liberal and/or democrat and/or leftish leaning persons would support her to support the party, or to keep Jindal out, etc. That is fine. AT LEAST IT IS A REAL REASON! But does anyone support Blanco because they think she's great or has some great ideas or think she is a great leader? Please comment on why you would vote for Blanco. But keep your responses on the topic of Blanco only. I will delete any response that answers my question relating to Jindal, republicans, etc. In other words keep it on the subject of Blanco and Blanco only. Enlighten me.
I will probably vote for her because she will do no harm and she isn't controlled by the far, far right wing like Jindal is.

That is plenty good enough reason right there. Another is that Jindal has accomplished nothing in his life except claim credit where none is due. The better question is why would anyone support Jindal? He is too young and no seasoned politician in this state is going to take him seriously. The other reasons are that Jindal is wrong on the issues. Vouchers are impractical and will not work. They would cost the state incredible amounts of money and would accomplish nothing. Outside of telling us that he will increase services while decreasing revenue, which only an idiot would believe is possible, he is just your run of the mill right wing kook anyway.
Of course another good reason to not vote for Jindal is right here on this board. Look at the people here supporting Jindal. That is reason enough right there to realize he is the wrong candidate. ROFLMAO

For Blanco to make the statement that "the ship of this state doesn't come with training wheels" was really funny, too.... Hey, Kathy...I know you're pushing 60 and all, but when's the last ship you saw with training wheels? I could have sworn BIKES had training wheels... Back to more serious matters, I offered you the chance to refute the simple fact that Jindal raised childhood immunization rates in this state directly during his time at DHH. You never denied it. I also offered you the chance to refute the simple fact that Jindal cut the budget of DHH to the tune of a half BILLION dollar budget swing, while cutting 1,200 Irish Welfare...err....State jobs, another sugar tit type of drain on the public coffers. You never did. I offered you the chance to refute the simple fact that Jindal got TWENTY THREE MILLION from Medicaid providers who were involved in fraud or abuse? (Whose fault were those overcharges, by the way? Second thought, don't answer that, you've had enough trouble answering these questions the first time around)...You never did. I offered you the chance to refute the fact that he collected back THIRTY FIVE MILLION DOLLARS in Medicaid overpayments to Hospitals during his tenure as head of DHH. You never did. Are you now going to refute the fact that under Bobby Jindal's administration of DHH, he recovered SEVENTY EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS of DHH (and indirectly, the people of Louisiana's)'s money? Are you going to deny that Barton Farris, the past president of the Louisiana Medical Society, claims that, "With his leadership..." immunizations and access to care increased? Provide me with facts, figures, and documentable proof that he's taking credit for this when he shouldn't have. His predecessor at DHH collected $50,000 worth of fraudulent and/or overpayments...What was his excuse? Give me a break, CB66...Either provide proof that he's taking credit where none's due, admit that you cannot deny the facts I just presented, or SHUT THE HELL UP!
