I thought Snyder should have suspended Roberson for the bowl game, but to pull this crap after the fact seems a little ridiculous to me, since no criminal charges are being filed. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=1702484
What a load. He uses the kid out of despiration and throws him to the wolves when he's done. Not that Roberson is a saint, but Snider needs to be disciplined. Also, one heck of a recruiting tool for K-State.
I lost a LOT of respect for Bill Snyder. First, he's an awful interview, much like Bob Stoops at the Sugar Bowl. And secondly he is a man with no morals. Roberson was screwing a woman way past his curfew, only 48 hours before the big game. He should not have played. I wonder how much credibility he lost with his players?
Sounds to me like he said we've gotten all we can from you on the football field, now to hell with you.
Bill Snyder is a punk, but they had won the Feista Bowl, Roberson would still be getting a ring and still have a scholarship, this just sounds like bad grapes to me. I don't see how any self-respecting high school prospect could consider going to K-State now. How many recruits you think they are gonna lose??
yea...I nominated old K State for thug U this morning after I read this on ESPN. what a cowardly move!
Did anyone notice the story that ran about West Virginia?? A player was suspended for the bowl game, it ran for 2 days and then it was changed to where the player would play in the game. Talk about no discipline
What's stupid is that he lets him play in the bowl game, yet he doesn't give him his ring for playing in it. That's ridiculous. BTW, Did he really break curfew? Technically speaking, he was in the hotel, and he was in bed.
