Two things. I'm disappointed because no matter what you all say, he was a game changer and a very important part of our time. That dude did things on a football field that no one else had really done. And he was only getting better.

And secondly, I'm going to miss watching him play. What a blast it was watching him get near the ball just knowing that anything could happen.

I hope he goes to McNeese.

It wouldn't be LSU football if something dramatic and damaging didn't make national headlines just before the start of the season.

No question. I'm like a quarter mile from the school. I"ll go buy season tickets within five minutes of the announcement.

One more thing, it will be hard to say Les let's his team run wild. No one really knew about this and it could have been swept under the rug but wasn't. I bet there were some long conversations between very high level people trying to figure out a way to avoid this but in the end, they did what they had to do. Kudos to the school for maintaining integrity.

LSUPride said that first I think. Well see how it unfolds but wouldnt' surprise me if the starting CBs and Simon AND Ronald Martin with Collins still the 1st backup.

    Troy Polamalu and Darren Sharper

Both are considered to be excellent players, yet they are both average at best when they aren't allowed to roam. Let's not act like there's no place for roamers in the NFL, there is.

Yeah, and we all knew about the 1st failed drug test (or maybe it was the second :p ). Regardless, it takes 3 according to ESPN to get you booted officially and my guess is LSU went the limit. Thus, Mathieu failed 2 drug tests that I know I never heard anything about.
