BIG NEWS: Rose Bowl ready for LSU - Michigan!

    Things are looking SPECTACULAR

    http://www.boston.com/sports/articles/2006/11/29/rose_bowl_would_be_ok_with_lsu_michigan/

"Domestic tranquility among the BCS bowls? Maybe. According to several BCS sources, the Rose Bowl, with an eye on "what's best for the BCS," will invite SEC West runner-up LSU to play Michigan or Southern Cal (if the Trojans are upset by UCLA Saturday).

The official announcements won't come until Sunday, but barring a major change in attitude, the Rose Bowl is ready to have its first SEC team in Pasadena since Alabama in 1946.

Although there was some sentiment for a Notre Dame-Michigan game -- they are the two winningest teams in college football history and Notre Dame hasn't been in the Rose Bowl since 1925 -- the prospect of the third- and fourth-ranked teams playing each other also was appealing. It also solves the debate about rematches."

Notre Dame would slide to the Sugar Bowl to face the SEC champion

Who could've imagined after the Florida loss that the Rose Bowl against #3 with us @ #4 or #5 would EVER be possible?

    This is, indeed, very exciting!
