Several times I saw Whitworth 30 yards downfield blocking a DB. He just flattened a couple of them, who were really annoyed and jawed at him a lot. One jumped up like he wanted to fight! Of course the ref was between them at the time. I don't think they've seen many 325 pound tackles in the defensive backfield. I haven't either. Reed did well, too. Pollack was working hard but I only saw him get around Reed once for half a sack. I don't think he got around Whitworth at all.
Whitworth and Reed completely nuetralized Pollack. And Whitworth is only a sophomore. LSU may have three first rounders on the o-line this year.
