As a matter of fact I was frying turkeys all day and drinking with the family. No permenant injuries. Tons of misinformation being passed around from all sides. It is getting clearer though. O knocked it out the park today and we don't have serious time constraints to worry about in these negotiations. However, I believe this has shifted to Herman then O. Jimbo out and hard for me to see him creeping back into it but anything is possible. All still fluid...but Texas may be willing to take a bigger financial risk on Herman than we are. Too many rumors to decipher on how Herman feels about LSU compared to Texas. However, I could also see Texas messing it up somehow. Thought we had it bad with our administration as of late.
I will be happy either way. I think most here agree. Herman to me is more of the home run but you really don't know what he can do. O is a bit more proven and will likely be able to keep the incoming class intact.
Pretty much what I figured. Just way too much chatter for anyone to really decipher anything except Herman is the choice and O is the fallback plan, but at the end of the day it probably ends up being O with him going after Kiffin and O getting around 2 mil a year.
ESPNTV sucks but I still listen to ESPN Radio, mostly the local shows. Even on radio the national heads are more into being politically correct than they are into sports
Think O would make a little more than that but definelty see the coordinators and head coach compensation being fairly equivaelent or at least less variance between the 3. Think Aranada would get extension and raise too.
