We didn't know at the time that he would be as good as he turned out to be. It was a step up from the 3 win dumpster fire we had at the time. Nick is a once in a life time coach, who's stars have lined up for championships. He's about to pass the great Bear, and no one could have predicted that when he came to LSU. If we could have, we would have spent the $12 mil to keep him from going to Miami. I think everyone on this board would have been ok with spending that much for 5 more NC. That's 2.5 per championship, hell we blew 5 on Les to win only 2 games this year.
