Justin Vincent has been very impressive tonight Broussard fumbled twice and Barrington Edwards was stopped cold every time he carried the ball.

    Shyrone Carey

definitely the #2 with Justin Vincent right behind him. Edwards is good, he just kept running into the defenders instead of around them!

Alley Broussard only fumbled once, that touchdown by the Cats was bogus, guess they needed some help....well alot of help! I bet Saban treats it as a fumble though...Broussard will be running several laps..

Broussard might be the only player on the team who dosen't enjoy the plane ride home.

Justin Vincent has some dirty moves! he had one catch..where he juked and ran over some defenders (in that 25 jersey of his)...had flash backs of josh reed.

i think so far...he is on par with Carey..both very talented

I like seeing Justin at FB, the same way we used Addai at FB some last year to provide a pass catching threat from that position. We could see that later in the year.

I think that was pure experiment at FB. Kevin Steltz is the starting fullback, and let me assure you he is awesome. He was younger than me when I went to high school with him, but he is a bulldozer like Mike Alstott of the Bucs. That dude can block and run. I like Vincent, but the two freshman need a lot of work to hack it with the big boys. Edwards needs to learn the playbook better and follow his blocks. Broussard is definately a work in progress with a lot of potential. I remember Toefield having the same fumble problem not too long ago.

Is Edwards still going to be able to redshirt? I was glad I got to see the Mouth of The South, but I hope it doesn't affect him being able to redshirt this year.

I don't know what the exact rules are either. I do think, though, that every redshirt players have a certain number of plays they can play...

Heard on a radio show that it is 20% of the plays in the 1st 3 games as long as the player gets an 'injury'. They said that the 'injury' requirement is not really enforced.
