I just felt I needed to post this and tell everyone about my father's experience with Skip Bertman this past weekend. My father has had cancer for 3 years and hasnt been doing well as of recently. Last year we went to every home game together and the SEC Championship and Nat'l Championship. He's a season ticket holder but hasnt felt good enough to attend. So my Aunt called up Skip Bertman and he offered him tickets in his suite and a parking pass right by the stadium so he didnt have to walk far. Once they got to the stadium they walked in and Skip was there waiting for him. Skip introduced himself and offered my dad any assistance he needed. They treated him like royalty up there. All the food and drinks you coule want, free programs, etc. They told my dad they would keep him in his prayers and to keep his head up. What a class act to do something like this. I just felt I had to tell everyone this story. I think it was a classy move by Bertman to help out a fan in need, when he could have just ignored the issue. Its great for him to put the fans first. Thanks Skip.
God bless your dad, Mud. When you and your family need it, remember to ask God to send the help of his angels. They will be there for you.
la mujer's chi chis are mas grande and magnifico! :thumb: but back to Skip, that is a great story and another example of why we are lucky to have him as a member of the LSU family. my prayers are with you and your family.
