I laugh because I think your blind following of your master is pathetic. You believe what you want to believe. Nothing I write is going to change your mind. And what are you talking about with an umbrella and marines?? Am I out of the loop on something here?
So you had no problem with the IRS investigating Greenpeace and Moveon.org in W's administration? You think submitting groups who dissagree with the current administration to closer inspection is fine? It seems you don't understand that in the US we have a freedom to hold differing opinions from whichever party is in power without being subject to such scrutinty JUST because we dissagree. That we have a right to organize and fund an opposition without discrimination? You seem to be equating political opposition to subversion. Advocating a for law that reduces or avoids paying taxes is NOT criminal or un american any more than advocating for a law that raises taxes would be. Do you understand the difference between advocating for laws to be changed and breaking those laws? If you think singleling out opposition groups by the IRS is fine you will love Putin's Russia or Chavez's Venezuela or Castro's Cuba or Saud's Saudi Arabia or China or Iran and so many places the chill of oppressing opposition groups exists.
It is a liberal's false analogy that tries to equate a real scandal with a silly picture of a Marine holding an umbrella for Obama while he is giving a speech. BTW...what is not false is that Obama does not salute Marines.... http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-fails-salute-marine_729017.html I know, Obama is a very busy man dealing with scandals and such. Ain't nobody got time for salutes!
It literally took 15 seconds to find a dozen pictures of Obama saluting Marines. He failed to salute a Marine once and followed the faux pas up with a handshake, which is much more personal. That's only slightly dumber than Umbrella-gate.
I have no issue with the IRS pursuing whomever they choose, should they deem it necessary. I take great joy in watching them chase down special interest groups who violate the terms of their non-profit status be it Greenpeace, churches who attempt political influence, or groups who like to claim non-profit status before funneling funds to political campaigns. The unfettered diversions of financial contributions to Washington DC is this country's biggest issue, IMO... Next time you should just ask me if I had an issue with the IRS investigating Greenpeace and Moveon.org before you hop right up on that soapbox.
it is absolutely true that he is a busy man these days dealing with scandals that he forgot to salute. That was kind of my point.
