Local NBC affiliate in Montgomery, AL, during it's sports segment on the 6 o'clock news, was talking about Alabama and Auburn players that will be leaving early for the NFL, I wasn't paying much attention 'cause I really didn't give a damn, but I heard the reporter also mention "Ben Wilkinson from LSU" as an "oh by the way." Anybody else hear anything? :geaux:
I have I know some parents of players that have been on the team and are on the team and they have all said that Ben would go pro when he was eligible to. But in the press or on talk show I have never heard it.
I would think that center, next to quarterback, would be the one position where you had BETTER not go to the NFL unless you are absolutely ready. Very demanding positon physically and mentally. I'm not aware of any college centers who have come out early. Stay one more year, Ben!
If he's gone, I wish the best to him... Rudy Niswanger plugs in at center, and Mcgill goes to the other guard... We're VERY OKAY with Whitworth, Livings, Niswanger, McGill, and...well, wait a minute...Whose our next right tackle?
Hmmm...Interesting...So I'm guessing you're moving McGill into the left guard position? Who are you inserting to the right guard spot?
