Harris is very mobile and he seems to throw more accurately on the run. I wish they had more designed roll-outs for him with the option to tuck it and run if he needs to.
They ran a couple of good ones last game. I think they are rolling out the playbook slowly for several reasons. We are playing a lot of youngsters who can only learn so much so fast; we have a want to perfect our bread and butter power plays before the stretch run; no need to reveal too much to opposing DC when we don't have to.
Heck, we need to polish this O for Saturday's game vs UCS-E. They aren't the team they've been but they still have great athletes on D. I'm one of the biggest Miles backers around but I have to say I am disappointed in the passing game, I blame Cam though not Les. Against a team like we played Saturday night we had mismatches all over the field and can't take advantage of them except with LF. We need to see much more production out of the passing game even if it is bubble screens, flares to Guice, button hooks to the TE's, etc.
they threw the ball way earlier and often than i expected saturday but harris was sucking as well as the wrs. well the o-line sucked too so it played a large part. ill blame les partly for not getting a young qb acclimated and in rhythm by working in the short game over the long ball. but he was trying to pass the ball then said f it. harris and the gd dropsie twins made the decision for him.
