I'm not sure about 'ol Ann Richards. But, yes, they do have many wealthy alums. My granny was a Baylor alumna (not of the wealthy variety, though.)
Sully, I gave you a "like" on your post. Playing this string of cupcake games has made LSU sloppy and I think it may bite them, probably in about 3 or 4 weeks when they go to Alabama. A no pass run up the middle offense won't work against Alabama, even with Fournette.and I was thinking about that when I watched them stuff Nick Chubb and Georgia. Those who are happy with a 10-2 record, 9-3 maybe, 2nd or 3rd in the SEC West and a Florida bowl are fine, but if you would like for your team to go to the SEC Championship game and maybe to the playoffs like most on here you are in some distress. What I'm seeing out of LSU, I ain't liking. What is this Red Man? Is that whiskey or something you smoke? How do they get away with that name?
Fournette is going to run all over bama's ass. You're going to forget all about these worries when he solidifies his heisman pursuit that fateful night in tuscaloosa.
I hope you're right, but Syracuse and EMU stacking the box isn't quite the same as Bama stacking the box. With a short passing game I'd feel much more confident.
LSU has a better offensive line than Georgia, not to mention, Fournette is playing with a chip on his shoulder and I would bet that Harris has a few big runs early on zone read that will play a factor. The only thing that can stop LSU this season is LSU.
