We won that game by 6...the first TD wasn't a TD... But, still...we had the chance to put it away and we chose not to.
I'm following the game through live stats on cbssportsline.com while at work. Wow... with 9 seconds left. Ouch. And then the WR calls a fair catch at the 3??????? He would have been better doing a hot potato style ko return than that.
We lost that game by not going for the KO when we had the chance... And the SEC officials helped the Piggies a little...well, a LOT.
Oh give me a freaking break! We won and all you guys can do is come up with excuses??? Better team, poor officiating, etc.? The point was, when the chips were down Nutt and his band of piggies dug down and showed what they were made of!
If you think that was a TD when LSU held them on 4th and goal, then you're looking through pork-colored glasses. There wasn't a single angle on the replays that supported it being a TD. I'm no denying that we broke down on the last drive of the game, but had we gotten a good call there, it probably wouldn't have mattered. Don't act like you've never lost a game on what you thought was a bad call. It's happened to us all. It just hurts when a bad call costs you a championship.
