This year we brought in a lot of talent....but we lost a whole lot more experience...talent + experience will win ballgames

and as soon as we get some good game experience we will be okay

did u guys seriously expect us to come out and win all of our league road games?

think about this....all we have to do is go 9-7 in league play and we're in the tournament

that is not a tough feat to do b/c as our talented freshmen gain experience they will be better

so u just gotta be patient...remember, this season is considered a success if we can make the tournament and win a game or 2

now if we get stuck in the NIT...i'm with you guys...we need to find a replacement

We cannot solve the zone defense and teams will continue to throw that at us. We constantly miss free throws, have too many turnovers, and going in 10 minute slumps without a FG isn't acceptable. I think and hope that this is Brady's last season.

u can't always blame the coach b/c our teams don't do what they're supposed to

for 10 minutes against Miss. St. we ran our offense like it's supposed to be run...with 3 freshmen on the court, things are going to happen like the coach wants it

One glaring problem with Brady is his lack of offensive gameplaning. He is not creative enough against the zone. Back screens and sealing off interior post men. Not enough agression on that end of the court.

Also this team needs to seriously practice freethrows. Hudson is proving to be more and more unreliable on the court.

I have not been impressed with Rejis either. Sure he is athletic but so is everybody else in the SEC.

yes Regis has turned out to be a huge disappointment

    a top 30 recruit who can't score isn't a top 30 recruit

i commend him for his effort and enthusiasm though

All this "be patient" garbage is ridiculous. Seriously, the man is lacking as a game coach and has too many players transfer (even with scholarship limitations, mind you). Louisiana has the talent to feed Top 10 programs in football, basketball, and baseball. So, Brady's ability to field decent teams should not be lauded but expected.

He has a poor disposition, so players leave the program or flat-out don't respond to him. I believe that LSU can do better in basketball, period. Can LSU win overall with rollercoaster-like consistency while not ever truly having a National Championship contender under Brady? Sure. But, can they achieve greatness under Brady? I say, no way. Believe what you want, but that is the truth.

Think about this. Brady's weak OOC scheduling all-but-guarantees 12 wins going into conference play. Go .500 in the SEC, and you've got a 20 win season. Some people will settle for decent with occasional spurts of greatness, but most of us want more. People don't go to the PMAC like they did for Dale's winning teams because people do not have confidence or affinity for Brady. This program can be great like baseball and football under the right leadership. Why settle? Go for the best.

    Obviously not.
Ole Miss lost 74-69 at home to Arkansas State. Lost at Auburn 80-53. Lost at Arkansas 86-78, and defeated Southeastern Louisiana by the same margin as they defeated the Tigers tonight.

I'm on the fire brady bandwagon now. This team is simply too talented to be this damn bad. Even our best player Lloreda can't do the fundmental crap, and that all falls on brady's shoulders. His butt needs to be out of baton rouge.

I can't wait till baseball season starts, least we have a decent team to watch then.

    You guys are all wrong?

I use to play college basketball

    Losing isn't the problem.........

Brady should've fixed the problem with the offense after the last
    game.

This isn't the type of team that can run the inside and outside offensively.

If your offense isn't working and you lose 2 games back to back.

the problem is the 14 minute drought and the 7 minute drought
    tonite.

It shows you the offense hasn't been fixed, what do you do?

You have to run some other offense and try something different.

Go watch teh NBA and see how to beat a zone!!!!!!!!

I'm not a Brady Basher, I've defended him up until now.

BUT THIS IS NOT NORMAL, I've never seen offense like this.

21 minutes with no field goals in a total of 2 games
