:hihi: :hihi: :hihi: Just when I thought I had lost all faith in Louisiana government, they turn around and give me hope.
Is it $25 for beating up a flag burner + assault charges? Or are there no assault charges and only the small fine? Just Curious. This is an interesting law to say the least. Not sure how I feel about it to be honest. Part of me really likes it, but from a legal standpoint - I don't see how a court could refuse to find assault charges only because the assaulted was burning a flag...
It is not our place to question the law, just abide by it. :hihi: I've got two ten's and a five. Who's in the mood?
$25 for the state fine, $2,000 for assault and battery, $20,000 for conspiracy, and two years in Leavenworth for violating federal civil rights. This is starting to get a little pricey. Maybe just a drive-by bottle throwing . . . "It slipped, officer". Careless endangerment -- 30-day suspended sentence, $200 fine.
There you go, Red...gotta ruin everyone's fun with the whole "breaking the law and going to federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison" thing. Sheesh! :hihi:
